The breakfast has a lot of variety with fresh fruit, juices, cereals, breads... The location was the most valuable point anyway. Its close to every historical place.

  A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki. We were able to buy Hermitage tickets at the front desk and avoud waiting in line which was a great benefit since it was very crowded.   Great location, just a few mins walk to the Hermitage and metro, and close to most of the sightseeing spots. Staffs are all friendly and helpful, speak good english. The place is very clean and cosy, just feel like home. Guests gather in the living room every night you can meet many new friends from all the world.   My review is based on booking a standard room, so there is no option of breakfast in the room. The location and value for money is excellent. We walked everywhere on the trip, and the main street is around 10 - 15 minutes walk. Brekfast is served in the hotel based in the same building, not great but enough to get us started. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The breakfast is good -- porridge, boiled egg, toast, coffee, juice -- and it's not a buffet!
