The staffs there are probably those among the best I have met at accommodations. Marsha (speaks Good English) and Andrey are so helpful and caring. The lady in charge of the facilities is so dedicated and the places is always/everywhere clean. Laundry, WIFI and, kitchen facilities are free. 10 min to the train station, and 5 min to bus stations, markets, ATM, etc. The place is located in the residential area, so it is very quiet and not for party animals. I also enjoyed the people I met at the .
kaikki arvostelut » Very clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. We arrived at 6am and they had the room ready for us which was a big bonus. It's just around the corner from a couple of 24 hour supermarkets. It can be a little difficult to find as google maps sent us to the wrong place. Its only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Take a right from the station and walk to the bridge crossing the river. Here take a left up the hill and its the 3rd road on the left. About 300m down that road on the left youl. The staff were excellent. Especially the lady with the long black hair. She was extremely helpful and nice. Great kitchen and laundry facilities. (You could do your own laundry for free or pay to have it washed, dried and ironed). It is located close to the train station. You can easily take a bus across the river to the centre of town. The hotel is clean, bathroom and bedroom are good and the bed itself comfortable. There's nothing bad about the hotel. The first receptionist we had to deal with when we arrived was very helpful and kind. The location is good if being close to the train station is what you're looking for. But... This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in Europe. Very clean and comfortable. I stayed there for just one night coming back after visiting Listvyanka to take the Transib to Beijing, it's very close to the train station. It is perfect for those who comes to or leave Irkutsk via train. You could ask the staff for a shortcut to the railway station. Staff could give u practical information and are helpful. Wifi didn't work in our room because of the walls. This was disappointing because it says wifi is available in ALL areas for free. If you're planning to enjoy and visit the city, the location is not convenient at all. First it's far from the center and all the city activities, and second the surroundings look terrible (there's even a warning in the kitchen telling guests to close the window when finished as it is not safe outside...). Also the second receptionist was not so nice, as if our requests were really annoying her. It's a pity... Need to walk or take bus or tram to the city centre. The price may not be low-budget but it´s worth the comfort somebody may not like the neighbourhood and the necessity to také bus to get to the center of Irkutsk (by walking you will lose a lot of time). nothing, just perfect!. Nothing. Far from city centre Wifi reception is not very good Difficult to find the exact location. The area of the train station is not so nice. I would recommend it if you want to be near the train station to catch an early train. Single duvet for double bed but given a second one on request Sheet too small for the bed Out of the city Tip for travellers: get a meter cab, our taxi driver quoted 500 roubles we bargained him down to 300, he got lost and as we only had a 500 note he wouldn't give us the change and held bags to ransom (this was a 500-700 cab). Have exact change for taxis. Not very welcomming personel, no break fast. Far away to karl marx street, no seperate bed room. Surroundings (residential area). Nothing I didn't like.
