Hotel Carol is my super-favourite of hotels. The price-quality is the best I have ever experienced, very friendly and helpful staff and a superb breakfast in a very charming building. Absolutely ideal to feel really comfortable during a business trip. I thank them very much to make my stays quite fabulous for several times already. Amazing rooms! Great location in the old city, and only 5 minutes away from the beach. And from the lovely reception ladies to the city tips of helpful Mr Luci, the staff was great. Our stay was wonderful, the kids had a great time, we will definitely come again.

Hotel staff very friendly, continental breakfast was very good and diverse. decor, attention to detail, staff, outstanding food selection for breakfast; old world charm. Owner put a lot into the running of this hotel. This is both money and thought. We wish its area were what it could be. Very good location, close to the seaside, and to some nice restaurants. Parking available on site. Good WiFi signal. Breakfast was nice, warm, with lots of choice. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked very much the hotel's style. Very comfortable bed. Staff were excellent, breakfast was varied and abundant. I certainly would recommend this hotel without any hesitation. The lady in the resturant was very polite and was playing with the children. Our children loved her. Great stafs, amazing attention to detail allover, in the very center of the city, bfast until 11 am. Nice vintage hotel. Very clean and luxurious. A proper 4-star hotel. There is no high chair for the kids when having breakfast. Very good breakfast, by the way!. Shower cabin liked a little. Neighborhood had severe slums scattered around and it seemed like an area we would not want to walk around in evening or possibly in daytime. We were disappointed that the picture of a quaint old corner hotel did not fit the current condition of the surrounding area. Shower leaked a little. One flight of stairs to our room after 1 floor via elevator ( room 201, bridal room). Nothing. wifi connection is poor. N/A. Unsatisfactory bathroom plumbing, water appeared to ingress from central floor drainage waste outlet when fittings not in use. Notified staff, but no action taken. Shower was leaking. Dark atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast in the cellar. In the city there was a lot of building works and very dirty. Das Bad und die Lage. Bathroom. Bathroom: large but uncomfortable, lousy toilet seat, no shower and most of all a terrible smell coming from the ventilation.
