  No wonder why this particular hotel is a winner!!! They treat you like a queen! It was my first time in Bucharest, and first with Epoque in March '13. That night after the opera I was not able to tell the taxi driver the address of Epoque, we assumed every taxi driver would know, since it was located almost round the corner from the National Opera... mitä ihmiset sanovat » House. Anyhow, after trying our chance with quite a few taxi drivers, I found the address and tel no of hotel through a friend through hotel's web si - The hotel is located right in the center, next to a beautiful park with a lake, 5 min to all the right places, yet hidden among the streets, thus allowing for quitness and privacy. When first arrived to the hotel it seemed like I was entering a castle! Its excellent staff assisted us with every possible request - what to do, where to eat, and even assisting with some car related issues, completely out of their line of responsibility.   Big room, Good Italian restaurant, nice swimming pool indoor. - the worst place i have ever seen in my life!!!this is, maybe, a 2 stars hotel no more, no A/C, very bad position and very bad conditions. simply ridicolous compared to the rate paid. only the restaurant is ok, food is fine.
