  The rooms were very spacious. The location was perfect and once we found our feet realised that we were in walking distance from most restaurants and bars. The food was good with plenty of variety. The people outside the hotel spoke very little english but enough for us to get by. A train ride for 2 - 3 euros to a place called Sopot is a must. There is a taxi rank out - The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke such good English, I was ashamed to not speak Polish. They were always a pleasure to deal with. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and cafes and walking distance to shops. I would stay here again.

There are also swimming pools, playroom and play ground. When the weather is not good, it is not problem for kids to stay indoors. We really enjoyed our stay at Golden Tulip. The pool, spa e.t.c. were first rate, and there is a good selection of treatments available, including a lovely manicure at a very reasonable price!   I cannot recommend the Artus enough. The Location is directly in the old town center, just off the Long Market, around the corner from the Fontanna Neptuna, next to a police station and an easy 10-12 minute walk from the Gdansk Glowny rail station. The building was very old and beautiful, while the interior was very new, modern and clean. Mon Balzac is - The top place to stay in Gdansk! Location could not be better. Downstairs at the corner brilliant taxi services (Taxi Baltic). Very helpful staff in hotel reception and restaurant. Room service breakfast absolutely luxury with fresh strawberries, good coffee or cappucino, cheeses and - everything! I also had a massage and a sauna and experienced that as Finn I can say: You good not have anything better!
