  Very friendly stall. We rented 3 rooms for our family. The front desk staff immediately upgraded my wife and my room to a deluxe unit. We had asked for quiet rooms so when we arrived around 2 pm, we were asked if we could wait 1-hour for the requested rooms. We were only 1- ni - The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. A close walk to the center of town. Across the street from the train station and several blocks from the bus station.

  These were perhaps the most relaxing and peaceful 2 days of our big Scandinavian trip. After 5 hours drive from Oslo, we reached Liseth conveniently located half-way between Hardangervidda plateau and Eidfjord, 20 min walk from Voringfossen waterfall. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage No.14 accomodating 7 people. On the accommodation floor, everything is well organized and we could feel like we were staying at home.
