Comfortable room with plenty of facilities/space. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information. Aloha is in a good situation for the bay of islands, Russell, Waitangi etc. You can get a tour to 90 mile beach from Paihia, although we drove and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Good restaurants in town - about a ten minute walk. Overall a very enjoyable stay. we stayed here for the night as a gift for our wedding nite and loved the flowers that were left in our room from the lovely gardens from the staff at the motel, a lovely touch, thank you. Wine & chocolates were left for the room by my parents which the staff put into our room before our arrival, big thanks for doing that. Great facilities and a relaxing stay.

Staff were friendly and were able to answer all of our inquiries. even though this is a family hotel the surroundings were nice and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend the Aloha Seaview Resort Motel to others. I stayed at Aloha for 2 nights with my 9yr old daughter and loved every minute! The staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to booking activities or advice on where to go. The pool and hot spa were a hit with us and it was very clean. It was our holiday in a holiday and I highly recommend it!. When we checked in, the receptionist told us that the room we booked was no longer available (the cheapest) and that they have upgraded us to the most expensive room! That was awesome. Staff was friendly, room was clean, everything that was needed was in the room, it was just an excellent overall stay. Even though we were a mature couple, we appreciated that this is the ultimate family accommodation with so many activities to keep pre-teenage kids busy and happy. Excellent accommodation away from Paihia and the rest of the tourists. the female staff were friendly and helpful. the location was great. they got a cool games room, table tennis, pool, computer, pinball. really relaxing place to stay, no noise spa good cooking facilities DVD player and DVD's to use. Loved staying there, was baby friendly and super friendly staff. Was awesome when we got there the male staff asked if we needed the use of a portacot and gave us a high chair to use. We would diffently go back and stay there :). Everything was very tidy,clean and comfortable. It's also a great place to spend your time with the family. The room had a wonderful view and the place was very quiet. We would love to come back again. The room we had was very spacious & accommodating, the facilities were totally awesome & our 2 & 1/2 year old had a blast with the spa, playground, space, it was magical thankyou so much. Very clean, well-run motel with excellent facilities. Great views, a pleasant 10min walk into town. Everything you need for a relaxing stay, including friendly information on local attractions. Great location - quiet, tucked away with spa and solar heated pool - very well kept and presented - units are spacious & well-appointed, serviced & equipped. Very family-friendly. We had a nice big room on the parking lot side with a nice enclosed patio. Easy and fairly priced laundry facilities are provided. A little out of town but an easy 15 min. Walk. Everything was perfect ~ wish I had booked longer stay - our host upgraded one of our rooms at no extra charge as had 3 adults in room. Hot spa was beautiful in the cool evening. This property was excellent. Lovely spacious studio appartment well appointed in quiet location. Nice courtyard and pool. Freidnly woman at desk. Excellent value for money. I was able to phone staff to say we were going to be late checking in and it was no problem. We were able to check ourselves in with no dramas. Very kind helpful staff. We liked the welcome we got when we got there and the helpfulness of the staff.. Our unit was comfortable and spacios and the view was beautiful. Not knowing if we had paid when leaving, took a while to get someone's attention when signing out. then it was as if it was are fault for lack of communication. booking was done on internet. The outdoor area from our room led right onto the carpark/driveway on 3 sides plus steep stairs. Considering the motel was not busy- it would have made sense to give us a room in a more suitable location for small children- especially since I called ahead and asked for a portacot. That said- I did not request a change. The Wifi only worked in part of our room and you had to sign into it frequently. TVs are outdated; should have flat screen TVs. Laundry room could be cleaner and have more than one washer and dryer. Room slightly dated now but fully functional. Nothing. Internet connection was not reliable / did not work at all one day. Had it been any hotter we would have needed air conditioning because of position of unit and the afternoon sun. The walk back up the hill from the main town, but it probably did us good. People using BBQ after 10 pm right outside our unit with a torch shining in & out of our bedroom window they stopped cooking at 11.30 pm. Annoying when arranging early start next day sorry. Bookings .com had sent booking confirmation to Aloha stating that we were staying for 2 nights at a total cost of $295. The actual booking was for 1 night at a cost of $95, It was as well that I had brought my booking confirmation e-mail with me. The staff were very good in rectifying this situation although it was confusing. Nothing. nothing. nothing ....We like every thing. Had to clean out dryer before we could use it. Very dark late at night. Night lighting on stairs would be helpful. nothing. a little outdated.
