The staff were friendly, always greeted us as we passed by and no request was ever too much trouble. Loved the peaceful ambience of the hotel with the low lighting of candles after dark. Loved the location just made for a leisurely stroll or a power walk along the beautiful waterfront. The outdoor cafe worked well for a light breakfast and the restaurant and bar were great at night. All of those things worked together to make our stay special and memorable.

I like the Castle Spencer on Byron. I stayed here for the evening before
and of my wedding at the beginning of the month and liked it a lot, so
my husband and I returned here on our last night in Auckland together.
It is close enough to shops, restaurants and the beach in Takapuna. The
rooms are clean, spacious and have good views. The beds are really
comfortable. -
The apartment was clean, spacious & light + we had our own balcony with amazing views. The swimming pool spa & gym were great, staff were friendly and efficient. Close to shops & the beach + plenty of food options. Also had our own kitchen giving us the option to cook if we wanted to. Large comfy bed & black out curtains meant we got a great sleep.
