  The owner/host could not have been more welcoming or helpful - always looking for ways to make our stay a memorable one. The apartment itself was large, bright and airy as well as extremely comfortable. The decor was an eclectic mix of modern and classic design. Quiet place but at the same time close enough to the city center - 10-15 minutes approximately (you can rent a bike if you'd like to). Pleasant park is nearby.   Ystävällinen henkilökunta, siisti huone - The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The rooms were nice, basic and most importantly clean. Its about a 10-15min walk to the City Train Station. We really enjoyed our stay there and will book there again if we ever go to Utretcht again - Great location, friendly and knowledgable staff.

  Looking at the map of Utrecht we were concerned that we'd be isolated from the town, and also from public transport. But in fact, there are lots of buses passing by (bus stop 200 metres away) and the trip to town is 10 minutes. The bus stops by the train station and its associated HUGE shopping mall. The hotel itself is very clean, everything work... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s, facilities are good quality - for UK visitors, TV is BBC 1 and 2 plus World. BBC 1 is from Northern Ireland somewhat oddly. Breakfast is nicely p - We checked in at 5 in the morning (after a Trance party) and probably looked and sounded a bit weird (not drunk cause I don't drink ... just really tired and I had paint on my face :)) but the young guy at the reception was uber professional (like they usually are in Holland). Also, the next day, all the staff we met (in total 5 or 6) were extremely polite and professional. Big kudo's to the Dutch way of doing things.
