  The staff were outstanding, both friendly and helpful in booking tickets, taxis, etc. We felt so comfortable and treated with such kind respect, it was wonderful! - The Staff were very helpful and friendly, the food(breakfast)was very good, in general it was a lovely stay

  The historic associations of the Hotel and location. The room was a four star one and was excellent. We liked looking around the hotel and finding out more of its history. Some reviewers inaccurately reported the hotel as being a prison previously.
