  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions.   Highly recommended for a visit to Amsterdam Staff were outstanding We had a medical issue and the night receptionist (at 4am) really went the extra mile to help us. Room was very modern and comfortable and quite large by european standards, high standrad of bedding and amenities such as flat screen TVs. I highly recommend this hotel to any travellers looking to enjoy a great valued option compared to other ones in this expensive city.

The There is a kinder garden right in front of the hotel, so I think that's why the street is closed for cars, which makes it really peaceful even in the middle of everything else. As a close follower of the publication, as well as being obsessed with design hotels, when Wall Paper rates it as one of the best new location in 2012, it became my primer task to check it out, hence, when the opportunity came, I checked into this hotel without a heart beat.
