  The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night.   The staff were always very friendly and helpful. They also let me bring my dog, and were very nice to him as well :) The location was great, it was very near many of the main museums, within walking distance, and the tram stops were about 5 min walk away. Our room had a balcony so that was nice. Room had a safe to lock up valuables which was free, and - Quiet location and spacious room: it is definitely worth staying slightly outside the city centre for these comforts. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).

We paid £380 for 3 nights during (uk) half term and at short notice which isn’t bad for Amsterdam and have no complaints. The staff were helpful and efficient.   The location was really good and easy to get around the city. My room was spotlessly clean and I have no complaint whatsoever. On a quiet street and my room had a garden view. Rooms are smaller but this is normal for European cities. Expect that everywhere.
