When I first arrived in Amsterdam I got myself lost in the red light district and he came to pick me up. The apartment was immaculate and had a well-equipped kitchen.   The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy. In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! - Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10

  I thought Hotel Ajax was a fantastic place to stay, Always had clean towels and sheets + toilet was cleaned regular within the 5 days i stayed here. Staff were extremely friendly...... From other reviews i had came across saying infested with rats and all that other complete bull that is all lies. Would stay here again, value for money.   Indeed my family truly enjoyed our stay in your hotel. All your staff have been wonderful during our stay there. I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival. Going on an evening stroll amongst some of the most beautiful canals ever created, you'll find yourself amid some of the most intriguing sites Amsterdam has to offer (Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square...). At the same time, this Boutique Hotel is located in a part of the city which has such a neighborly feel, you'll find yourself wishing you a resident rather than just a tourist. The staff at the reception area were extremely professional / informative
