  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions.   The hotel is really wonderful! We stayed there with my friend for 4 nights at the end of May and were really suprised with everything. First, location. You're in the centre but away from the noisy crowd. Dam Square is within 15 min walk. The tram stop is just next to the hotel so it's really easy to get everywhere in Amsterdam. The rooms are well-equipped, though not large, but there is enough space and furniture for - The hotel is easily reachable by public transport. When I arrived to the hotel tired after a long travel the manager offered me complimentary tea/coffee and gave very useful tips about what to see and where to go.
