  This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are of the highest standard as are all the public areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you in the area and need a room, I strongly recommend you stay in this hotel, it is an absolute gem. - The lady who run the hotel and restaurant was lovely, the room was big and the... mitä ihmiset sanovat » bathroom had a really good sized wet room. The location was good as the train station was a 5 min walk as well as a few local shops being across the road.

  The most warm welcome from any hotel owner ever! Our room was small but adequate. The beds comfortable and the toilet/shower clean. The breakfast was unbelievably good - to start(!) croissant with fresh strawberries and cream; then...pancakes with maple syrup, 6 kinds of bread, 3meat, four cheese, boiled egg and a luxurious bowl of fresh fruit. Our host was very accomodating and helpful - Owners very friendly and as we were the only ones staying over that night asked what time we wanted breakfast. The breakfast was lovely - warm croissants with bacon and cheese and boiled eggs, as well as the usual cerials and cold meats, cheese, bread etc.

  Wow! We stayed in room Zeedistel on the first floor with a view of the port. Spotless and very comfotable room. If you like ships then this is the place for you. You can watch them day and night! Breakfast was also amazing and you can help yourself to drinks and snacks as they operate an honesty bar. We also hired bikes at the hotel for only 5 eur... mitä ihmiset sanovat » os a day and got the fast ferry to Maasvlakte2 and went to the visitors centre and beach. The restaurant opposite the hotel is very good and there are - I was sad to leave this lovely place. I splurged and got a room with view and am very glad about this because that view was my entire evening's entertainment. Also the view rooms up front are more spacious. I loved the extreme comfort of the bed with its huge pillows. The stylishly modern bathroom worked perfectly and the shower was deluxe. I had such a nice time relaxing in the comfy lounge area downstairs and helped myself to the honesty bar which included a keg of beer!
