We loved this place in Franeker. It was just unique in every way. Right beside the canal with so many lovely old buildings that looked like they fell out of a post card. Beyond anything we even expected or hoped for. The perfect example of a historic Dutch town, even with moats and zig-zag canals. The staff was just as if we would have been close relatives. Taken care of us, as if we would have been royalty. Can hardly wait until we come back!!! Peter and Susan Hoover with Justin and Stanley.
