  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. The internet connection worked very well for me. The rooms are large by European standards and the shower has a rain-fall and hand-held head. If comfort is a priority this is the place. Downside is location. It is a 15-20 min plus waiting time from most attractions. Also note there are at least three ways of getting here from Centraal Station. 1. When I arrived to the hotel tired after a long travel the manager offered me complimentary tea/coffee and gave very useful tips about what to see and where to go.   We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. Nice wee touches like brollys being available.I wouldn't hesitate using the apartment again - Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will definitely be back.
