  Very old world and full of personality. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Food is wonderful, not run of the mill hotel menu. Hotel is on quiet canal, although right downtown. Easy to walk around to get anywhere. - The personnel is very friendly and professional. Breakfast and breakfast room are great.   I read about this hotel from Wall Paper. As a close follower of the publication, as well as being obsessed with design hotels, when Wall Paper rates it as one of the best new location in 2012, it became my primer task to check it out, hence, when the opportunity came, I checked into this hotel without a heart beat. The building itself is spectacular - the architectural design and merging of old and new to create a dynamic lifestyle experience with the comfort of the new and the charm and character of the old. The hotel is its own little idealized universe with good food, fabulous shops and a beautiful spa/pool/gym that offers yoga, pilates and other exercise classes daily. I couldn't recommend the
