The host, Pieter, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, especially the neighborhood, and was able and willing to show me things that aren't in the travel books. The neighborhood, the Jordaan, is very walkable to just about any place in Amsterdam and the bus connections are pretty much around the corner. The room is pretty funky - Pieter is an artist and collector and it shows. Instead of a chandelier, for example, there is a rack of reindeer antlers hanging from the ceiling. kaikki arvostelut »
The room was big and wonderfully decorated. Highlight was the bed which
was super duper comfortable. Location is good within walking distance
of all the major sights and close to 2 different tram stations. Room
was well equipped with fridge, microwave and kettle. Hence perfect for
getting ansy storing some food in your room. The owner is very sweet
and helpful.
Peter was very friendly and help full. Made us an lunch box as we left before breakfast . Very quiet at night time. Had a microwave , kettle , tea / coffee and fridge in room. It is very convenient to have all this. We love to be able to make tea and coffee when ever we feel like it. Could warm up our supper. Good value for money.
Very friendly owner of the house and truly made our stay joyful.
Owner is a great photographer with nice elder Amsterdam women photo and very talkative during our stay. Wish to read some books from the shelf...very good design B&B
Oh! Very tasty breakfast and warm bread as well!.
- Commitment of Peter, the host. Extending to doing a short tour of the neighborhood
- Being in a hotel which is 4 meter in width and occupying the single room there (which stretches over the complete 1st floor.
A fantastic spot in a beautiful part of the city! Our host Peter could not have been more helpful. Fabulous breakfast too. Highly recommended.
Perfect location, nice house, good breakfast, comfortable bed and an additional value - the owner! He showed us -hidden places in Amsterdam.

The price
The friendly host
The comfy bed.
The location on a quiet street.
Nice breakfast.
Liked it all.
Watch out:staircase is winding and steep as would be the case with a lot
of old dutch houses. If carrying a big suitcase I wouldnt recommend the
place as it would be difficult to take it up and then bring it down.
Otherwise wonderful find.
The struggle to get our heavy suitcases up the narrow steps.
- Smell in the bathroom. Ventilation not adequate
-.
Everything was ok.
Inadequate lighting in the room.
