This was a spacious apartment with windows opening onto a canal. The location was wonderful--close to the charming Jordaan, within walking distance of the train station, and a 30 minute walk to the Rijksmuseum. The wood floors and decor were very beautifully done. Lovely, light, airy, spacious apartment in a very convenient position. Walking distance from Central Station, good places to eat nearby, bakery next door - very tempting. Overall a great place to stay.
Quiet location. Great local eating places. Apartment ideal base for exploring Amsterdam. Within easy reach of places of interest.

It is wery spaceous and light.
The US traveller should ask for help in operating the appliances upon arrival; the stove especially proved difficult for me.
As others have said the spiral stair to the bedroom could be a problem for some, also the downstairs ensuite toilet is fluids only, which could also be a problem for some people.
