My boyfriend and I stayed at Admiral B+B and both agreed it was one of the nicest places we have stayed. It was a 10 min tram away from the centre, which was incredibly convenient. The bathroom was stunning + extremely releasing, also our room was very cosy. We both thought Rebecca was a lovely host and made the settling in process very relaxed. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. You could tell she had made an effort with her B+B! We will deffinately be going back :).
kaikki arvostelut » It was a different kind of B&B - very informal and fun. Only a few bedrooms, so the 2 toilets, 1 shower room & a jacuzzi room were never busy. Free use of the kitchen was great, and our room had a fridge, microwave, desktop computer, flatscreen tv and UPC 100's of channels. Free wifi too. This place would definitely suit younger couples. Location was a bit outside the city centre, but a very regular tram is only a 30 second walk away. Rebecca was an awesome host..very interesting, friendly and charismatic. The room was cleaned both days we stayed. The shower was separate from the toilet making sharing it easier. If you were staying in the winter, the jets in the shower and towel heater would be great. The rooms are very good with great space and all aplliances that we needed. Rebecca is very nice host and gave us all informations about the city. The neighboor is very quite. Quite good place. Rebecca was very friendly! She gave us tips about the city and transportation. The room is clean, quiet and comfortable bed. The place is not near the center, but has easy access to the means of transport and you can use tram until midnight. The room is large and clean. The localization is reasonable, near to public transport, despite a little far from the centre of Amsterdam. It was very difficult to find at first. A sign or a note on buzzer would of really helped us distinguish where it was. The 35€ charge for my 5 yr old was too expensive making this room 145€ Especially we used the existing bed and futon couch in the room. Although, she was nice enough not to charge an additional 35€ for my 3 yr old since her criteria for additional charges stated under 3--would have bumped up this room to 180€! For this price you could be much closer to where the action is and with your own bathroom. The tram ride after a long day of walking and sight seeing is a bit too long. no breakfast. The upper bathrooms are shared and very small. There is no fixed staff on the place, so I had some problems with the front door ( I was locked out one day). There is no breakfast, despite the description on the site.
