I'd like to say that you should go there even though price is a bit higher than other hotel.   Frankly, it was the best choise I have ever made. &Quot;House of Amstel" is very central in terms of location, you can find the place very easily just a few minutes of walking from Dam Sqaure, it is actually at the intersection of several busy streets such as Damrak and Amstel ; it's called Muntplein. Apart from excellent location the place is very comfortable, you have everything under your hand. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

  I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice shower, toilet and kitchen. Air conditioning and heating facilities... mitä ihmiset sanovat » are also available but, luckily, being the weather perfect, we didn't need to use any of them. For breakfast, we were left all the necessary ingredie - Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.
