  We loved the fact that the room was absolutely silent and bliss for a good nights sleep. The large size cosmetics were terrific as it meant we could enjoy a proper bath without running out of bath foam! The breakfast room is very grand and overlooks the manicured rear garden. Staff are extremely polite and will go out of their w - All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.

  The staff at the hotel were very efficient and friendly. Check-in took about five minutes in the queue, but only 30 seconds to complete once at the desk. The hotel is clean with a contemporary design and the rooms were very well equipped withan applemac that doubles as your tv and radio links and free WiFi and internet in the hotel.
