Walking distance to bus terminal and restaurant street. Clean Hotel, Good Service. Had all the facilities - kettle, good beds, good shower, clean rooms and linen, coffee, tea, fridge with room bar, quiet, adequately sized room in a bungalow development away from the main hotel building. I liked the locaton of the hotel. Friendly staff n helpful. Located near the bus station and near Shwedagon pagoda, local market and restaurant. Have rent a bicycle but more expensive than renting from the outside.

The location, very close to the bus station so no need to get a taxi or a horse-cart. Most ppl check out 7-8am but check in is strictly after 1pm which is extremely not convenient. Suggest to state clearly to allow flexible check in . Or early check in for luggage. Only cold water in the washbasin (shaving problem), rather dark interior with inadequate lighting (Important when clearing the room on departure.). The compimentary breakfast was not up to the mark. No wifi. I reserved $50 per room, which found that flush toilet is waste. Staff do not attentive customers enough. Hotel looks shabby do not maintain. Breakfast not tasty. I think this hotel is not suitable for bagpacker. I spent per nigth most expensive for travel in Myanmar. but I feels that the other is better. The hotel lacks comforts. The shower and toilet space and the sleeping space is separated only by 3/4 faux-wall which is adorned by a sandblasted window. wifi is only available at the reception area, and it's not free. around 2usd from 9am to 9am next day. Price is way too high for what it is. Room was a bit dark & damp. Staff trying to make extra money on taxi rides; they purposely did not combine travellers whilst I asked to share a cab to the boat e.g. No english speaking No good service Laundry very expensive Governemebtale hotel. Cleaniness. The toilet was broken The curtains felt down when we tried to close them And during the night it was to cold with the sheets they gave us. Toilet room, no clean, bugs inside. Extra costs as not usual, like WiFi and city maps. The staff at the reception was probably having a bad day.They were absolutely not welcoming and despite our booking confirmation for 2 nights (with letsbookhotel.com) we had to leave the next morning. Hated staying there! Would certainly not recommend this hotel. We found other hotels in the area much better than this one. Probably, the worst hotel I have ever visited. - Dirty, unclean. They simply make the bed, but do not clean at all, and the dirt cummulates - Staff was arrogant and unfriendly, specially the reception guy - "Free" wifi is charged with an extra 2.000 Kyatts fee !! And the signal does not reach the romos other than the 2.3 first ones, closer to reception - No blackout curtains - Noisy. Main road is 10 meters from the bungalows and traffic is heavy - Extremely expensive? No, a real swindle!. they are the only rude people in burma. no wifi, crap breakfast, uncaring staff. The blankets were durty !! The price exessive for the catégory.
