Riad Amazigh - Valokuvat
Mitä ihmiset sanovat
We were blindsighted by the wonderfull reception and experience we have had in Meknes and at Riad Amazigh! Amazigh was, up to now (only one more hotel to stay - in Rabat), the very best place we have stayed in Morocco. We are spending 20 days traveling around the country, and we have noticed there's a culture of excessive - and not very genuine - "kindness" by Riads towards their clients. At Amazhig, nonetheless, we were received with genuine and honest kindness. Hassan, the manager, was amazin. kaikki arvostelut »
Unfortunately I stayed at Riad Amazigh just for one night. I met the owner Fatima which has welcomed me with a lovely dinner (the olives and lemon chicken tajin was amazing). The room was big, clean. Did not have the chance to use all the hotel facilities. The breakfast was abundant.
The quality of the service is higher than other riads I have been during my holiday in Morocco and the price is fair compared with the overall quality of the experience. I definitely recommend this riad to the peop.
clean, very hospital service.
the two young women working there ( Fatima was not there), were so sweet and lovely. though they did not speak english and i did not speak french, they still tried very hard to help me find places to visit and make me feel comfortable. beautiful, clean, spacious rooms and a lovely terrace upstairs for breakfast and lounging, to boot. location is great, as R.A. is tucked in within the medina. Just note that it can get a bit noisy at night, but then again, any place .
a very friendly and helpful hostess. Thank you for everything Lovely Riad in the medina in a quiet backstreet but not far from the medersa and the souks : ideal situation. We had a great stay there : great breakfast, superb terrace, wonderful staff and above all, a very friendly and helpful hostess : thank you for everything Fatima ! We only wish we could have stayed longer ... PS : many thanks for introducing us to Kenza's wonderful cuisine !.
This Riad is really amazing. Although it is located in the centre of the
Medina, it is very quiet and perfect to relax from the busy Medina-
life. We had a room at the rooftop with a fatastic view, but due to the
cold weather it was also a little bit freezy. Fortunalety, Fatima
provided us some warm blankets and a radiant heater. The typical
marocean Breakfast is delicious with its home-made jam. Also try dinner
- it's really worth it!.
We highly appreciate our stay in Riad Amazigh. The service was perfect, staff excellent, breakfast delicious, cosy and clean rooms . Thank you, Fatima, for your sweet care. We never forget you and our stay in a room on a terrace with a beautiful view on a stary heaven. We recommend your Riad to other visitors with great pleasure. We were happy there. Take care.
Ivana and Vladimir.
Everything! By far the best place I stayed in Morocco. And ironically the least expensive. I even stayed at the renowned Palais Jamais in Fes and this place just felt better. The rooms were all charming Moroccan, the meal was the best moroccan dinner I have ever had and Fatima, the owner could not be nicer and more accommodating. Simply put, the best.
Although the riad is in the middle of the medina, Fatima sent a map to
ensure we got there without any trouble. Both she and Sylvie are very
kind, charming and helpful! They explained the sights, helped us get
around (even gave us some tips on other Moroccan cities), and gave us
some of the best moroccan tea and pastries that we've had!.
I love everything about this riad. Fatima and Buthayna offered us a room on terrace. We felt that we were home! Breakfast table, the stylish desing of the hotel... were very good. Room was very clean, I could feel the smell of their washing agent. Briefly Amazigh = amazing. Next time we will go to Meknes to visit these fantastic girls.
Fatima and Hassan can tell you all about Meknes, the history of Marocco, has a high esthetic sense of decorating the rooms. In Meknes this might be the best place to stay and to eat. We ate awful on the market and had great lunches in several small 'bars' in the medina, but the best diner is in this Riad. Great place!!!.
The owner of this riad is amazing! She told us so much about what to see
in Meknes and if she wasn't there, we wouldn't have seen so
much. Also, it's definitely worth to have dinner at the riad,
because they make fabulous traditional food. After all, Morocco is all
about people and in this riad we felt like home.
It's all about Fatima and her staff, who are just so helpful. She recommended a local restaurant with live Moroccan music. Someone escorted us there and we were treated to a very unique, non-touristic and intimate evening of both entertainment and food.
Thank you.
The riad is very nicely done, the rooms are confortable and the breakfast
was excellent but the best things are the staff and Fatima ,the owner.A
Warm friendly welcoming lady. Thank you so much for getting up so early
to make us breakfast before our train journey.
- Owner Fatima was wonderful, we only stayed for one night, but she helped us with finding a place to snack, recommended a restaurant, gave us a map and told about the city and arranged a taxi for Volubilis/Moulay Idriss and all the way to Fes Airport.
We stayed at Riad Amazigh for one night- we were the only people there. We had a choice of rooms which were all lovely. The host was really nice and was available to help with anything. We had a nice breakfast on the terrace. We enjoyed our stay!.
Great staff -- Fatima was extremely helpful and welcoming. Good location -- close enough to the souks, but not too close to be overly busy and noisy. The terrace room offers wonderful views and provides a nice, quiet escape.
Fatima and her staff were very welcoming. She showed us how to reach the main square and provided us with the history of the Riad and the area. Really enjoyed the entire stay.
The owner, Fatima was more than helpful. We arrived very late and she waited up for us to arrive which was very kind. Staff happy and friendly, overall very nice two days.
The Riad Amazigh is amazing and the owners Fatima and Peter are so polite and sincerely friendly. Was the best we have had in own 12 days journey in Maroc.
Warm welcome and abundant information at receival. Good breakfast.
Lovely staff and owners
Typical Moroccan riad
Great location.
Hospitality was excellent and friendly.
Hospitality.
The riad is big and needs some refurtbishments. It is not an issue, however it will be the cherry on the cake.
although the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, the bathroom had a major stench problem!!! i'm not sure what it is, maybe some sewage issue, but it hit me as soon as i arrive in my room. kept the window in the bathroom open my whole stay, but that didn't really seem to help make it go away. awful smell, really. fix this and everything will be totally perfect!!!.
I wish I had traded Meknes and Riad Amazigh for my time in the very hectic and less friendly Fes.
Just to be picky, I have to say that the room's lighting was not
excellent: not much natural light (which is something understandable
considering the building's construction), but not too many lamps to
brighten up the room.
Nothing.
We got lost twice before being able to go in and out without
problem...but everybody was so nice helping us it was not a problem.
- Even with map it's easy to get lost in medina.
I have nothing to complain about.
Difficult to find in the medina.
