I can't say enough good things about Riad Dar Diakoum although we only stayed there for one night after we came back from an excursion to the desert and before flying out of Marrakech. The Riad is an quiet oasis in the craziness that is Marrakech. The manager was so kind and considerate, she thought of everything. Even though she knew we were just staying for one night, she came personally to meet us and took us to the hotel, gave us tea and refreshments, pointed every amenities of the hotel ou.
kaikki arvostelut » Riad Dar Dialkoum is simply an oasis in the middle of the Medina. Beautifully and very tastefully decorated, very friendly owners and excellent staff. Breakfast was served every morning and water, coffee, tea, fruits were on the house throughout the day. We had a lovely room (Yasmina suite) over looking the patio and has a very comfortable stay. Will return anytime we are in Marrakech. the riad was amazing and the owners were more than friendly and helped us alot, in booking trips, advice on transport, local cuisine and local knowledge. they were very kind and sensitive to our needs. food at the riad was also very delicious, the owner was also kind enough to tell us the story behind dishes and how it was made, which made our experience even more special and rich. Lovely atmosphere. Best food we have had in all our visits to Morocco. Service way beyond any reasonable expectation. Laurent and Muriel, Kadija and everyone concerned have created something very special here with attention to detail and extras too numerous to mention. The fabulous welcome (with spot-on advice for enjoying the town) and the continued kindness of the hotel management and staff. The hotel is lovely inside with plenty of comfortable spaces to relax. the location is perfect for exploring Marrakech. A real jewel. Muriel and Laurent were wonderful and provided excellent help and advice. The riad is stunning and very clean, with large rooms and a lovely foyer. The free breakfast was tasty and the neighborhood was "authentic" Marrakech rather than touristy. The owner of the riad was excellent very helpful our stay was only for one night but she organise a lovely meal and gave us some places to visit the accomdation was also great very clean and comfortable would recommend this riad to anyone. This is a place of tranquility and authenticity within the walls of the Marrakech madness. Lovely food in a relaxing environment. Laurent and Muriel are the perfect hosts with huge amounts of advice of what to do and where to go. The riad is a quiet and stylish escape from the busy life of the medina. The hosts and staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food and drinks are served in a beautiful courtyard that is truly an oasis in the medina. Owners, Laurant and Muriel couldn't have been more helpful. In fact don't know how we would have managed without their invaluable advice about the dos and don'ts in such a very different city from those we're used to. I loved the friendly atmosphere the owners made us feel really welcome. I have never been to a hotel where the owner came to personally welcome us plus she explained all the local attractions along with the city map. The owners and staff did everything to make our stay with them perfect. Breakfast and dinner was amazing and plentiful. Riad was very clean, rooms were lovely. The manager/owner accommodated our every need; the menu, breakfast time, taxi, etc. It was the most luxurious and relaxing place i've ever stayed in morocco. Laurent and Muriel and staff make you feel so welcome, fantastic oasis, in the middle of busy Marrakech. A must place to stay . The rooms were lovely, the staff were extremely helpful and the recommendations from the owner were spot on. Riad Dar Dialkoum was an amazing oasis in the hectic atmosphere of Marrakesh. Would highly recommend it. Traditional Moroccan architecture and design. Morning breakfast was delicious. Welcoming staff and owner. Fantastic treatment on the part of the owners. Beautiful interior design. Good breakfast. perfect atmosphere, created by the interior and by owner Laurent. Friendly staff, peaceful environment. An oasis of calm and comfort. Friendly unusual and charming. I only regret that it was not available for my other 4 nights of stay in Marrakech!. Wish they had wired internet connections in the rooms. This is serious nit picking but we both had problems with the size and shape of the pillows. Having to leave :). We almost always took a taxi back to the riad as it was nearly impossible to walk back from the center of the city without getting irreversibly lost. There are birds singing in the trees all day starting around 5 A.M., which was lovely the first night but more and more frustrating as the week wore on and we got very little sleep. We were also disturbed by the other residents of the riad who smoked in the central courtyard (as did Muriel and Laurent). We were in a room on the ground floor which was a little noisy. The bed was too hard for me. The location takes some getting used to but once you know your way around it is easy to get everywhere. Nothing!. My only regret is that we didn't have more time there. Location difficult to find on your own. Nothing.
