  Absolutely delightful staff, just walking through the doors of the Riad it felt like coming home. There was a wonderful family feeling about the place and a great relationship between the staff and we were treated more as family than as simply paying guests. A beautiful place .. our little oasis in the heart of the Medina. Olivier, Mustafa, Abdu, Ai - Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

  Fantastic and helpful staff. Only 1 min walk from Djemaa el Fna. Cosy atmosphere at the hotel, feels very local and different in a good way. The rooms are nothing special, but you don't expect that anyway. However, the rooms are clean, everything works fine! We also miss the authentic and very good breakfast! - I loved the hostel, it's great, Said and Christopher are really kind and nice, always helping. They have a transfer service to pick you on airport coast 20 €, its better to ask for the transfer because the place it's a little bit dificult to find, and if you go by taxi, will be 15 € and they will leave you in the square and you'll not find the place without pay a lot of money for the local people.

At the beginning it is not easy to find as it is in a small, hidden street. So it is better to ask for some guidance just for the first time. We stayed in Meknes room which was fantastic, in original Maroccan style. The staff is very kind, helpful and always available. We would definitely recommend this Riad as

Even though there was a language barrier with the staff (they didnt speak English and we didnt speak French) they were still very friendly and made us feel welcome.   Very nice riad. Rooms were very clean and airy. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Only downsides were you had to pay to use the jacuzzi ( when do you ever have to pay? Anywhere? ) and the noise traveled easily between the rooms. I am told all riads lack privacy and this wasn't a big issue for us ( group of mates). All in all nice place, well decorated with good staff - Good value for money! - The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The Riad is like a little haven of peace and tranquility. It is perfectly situated in terms of being able to walk everywhere and you get a real feel of living in Marrakesh amongst the local people. We were travelling with our two weenage children and there was enough at the Riad to keep them occupied as well as being incredibly relaxing for us. Definately would reccomend Riad Vendome
