This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

The rooms are so clean and warm and comfy with a lot of room to choose from - The staff was very nice.   We stayed here for 5 nights in November and Riad Lorsya couldn't have suited us more perfectly. It is brilliantly situated just off Marrakech's souks in the centre of the Medina and amazingly peaceful considering its central, bustling location.   We came to the riad through the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with the host Julien leading the way. As we entered Riad Bibtia, the tranquility and atmosphere of the building really struck us. The hospitality from all the staff throughout our six day stay was faultless. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the riad's atrium and ate splendidly - The family really takes care of their gests! Both so that you feel very welcome to their riad and to help you to plan/do nice things during your stay. When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks! PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448.

Th - I liked the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was wonderful and enough (yogurt, orange juice, pancakes, coffee or tea, eggs and crepes), the bathroom and shower were spacious and had nice towels and bath ropes which was a very nice touch. The room felt cozy. And even though we could not lock it, I was ok with it. The roof top was ok, nothing particular. In general I liked our stay at the Riad, it had an authentic feel to it and as I said, the staff made one feel at home.

  This Riad was amazing, all I wanted from our Moroccan trip was to see all the amazing tile and plaster work and once I stepped into this place I didn't need to leave! It was a beautiful exotic oasis great for relaxing by the pool reading a book or just staring at your beautiful surroundings.   What a wonderful riad! It is located right in Jemaa el Fna, though quite impossible to find it on your own, without some help from the locals (they will ask for some cash, of course). But once you find it, it will be a piece of cake to find your way through those amazing souks. The hotel itself is located in the very heart of the Medina, but at the same time is in a quiet place, we loved the big room we had and the rooftop terrace for some late night watermelon and dates! The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.

There was a great view from the roof terrace over the neighbourhood and towards the mountains. The decor was very eclectic and I enjoyed the old film posters and photographs of Moroccan towns.
