  Absolutely delightful staff, just walking through the doors of the Riad it felt like coming home. There was a wonderful family feeling about the place and a great relationship between the staff and we were treated more as family than as simply paying guests. A beautiful place .. our little oasis in the heart of the Medina. Olivier, Mustafa, Abdu, Ai - Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

  With so many Riads to choose from our end choice was based on other reviews. We chose to be met at the airport as arranged by Zak the manager of the Riad, this cost 15€ and we would advise others to do the same as the Tahar Oasis would be very difficult to find. On arriving close to the hotel we were taken on foot to the Riad through a few streets... mitä ihmiset sanovat » and into what can only be described as an alleyway. Initially we were concerned as the alleyway was dark and our natural instincts were one of danger - The staff at the hotel were fantastic as was the decor, comfort and the best breakfast I had while in Morocco. I like the riad set up as it is very authentic and the roof terrace at the Tahar was really lovely. Location too, right on the edge of the shopping district was just right, but being off the main streets very quite and relaxing too. It is hard to find alone, but the manager is happy to meet you if you need and assist with directions and luggage.

  I stayed in this Riad with my sister for 4 nights. It was luxurious, clean and stylish. The mnnager and assistant manager (Majid and Touhammia) were very welcoming and extremely helpful.   Beautiful place, brilliant location with a view of the koutoubia mosque, also we loved the rooftop terrace with big loungers, it is perfect for relaxing and looking up at the stars! The riad is beautiful and authentic, very quite and Said takes care of everything in a perfect way. he also gave us some advice for the excursion to Ourika Valley and to the desert. We also miss the authentic and very good breakfast! - I loved the hostel, it's great, Said and Christopher are really kind and nice, always helping. They have a transfer service to pick you on airport coast 20 €, its better to ask for the transfer because the place it's a little bit dificult to find, and if you go by taxi, will be 15 € and they will leave you in the square and you'll not find the place without pay a lot of money for the local people.

Even though there was a language barrier with the staff (they didnt speak English and we didnt speak French) they were still very friendly and made us feel welcome.   Very nice riad. Rooms were very clean and airy. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Only downsides were you had to pay to use the jacuzzi ( when do you ever have to pay? Anywhere? ) and the noise traveled easily between the rooms. I am told all riads lack privacy and this wasn't a big issue for us ( group of mates). All in all nice place, well decorated with good staff - Good value for money! - The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The Riad is like a little haven of peace and tranquility. It is perfectly situated in terms of being able to walk everywhere and you get a real feel of living in Marrakesh amongst the local people. We were travelling with our two weenage children and there was enough at the Riad to keep them occupied as well as being incredibly relaxing for us. Definately would reccomend Riad Vendome
