Location was great! The staff were not excessively cheery, but they were very helpful. This is not a fancy hotel, in fact it is bare bones, but it is extremely clean. One of the things that I enjoyed was that there was always 2 bottles of water waiting for me when I came in from being in the city all day. The bed was really comfortable and the place was quiet even on the weekend. I totally recommend this place for travelers esp. women traveling alone.
kaikki arvostelut » We came to the hotel about 9pm and it turned out they don't have room for us though I made reservation few months before. letsbookhotel.com didn't write anything about paying for the room one day before coming to the hotel. After long flight we didn't have place to stay. The room was clean. The staff was helpful. There was free wifi. The location was excellent (if you want to stay near the zocalo/centro historico... if you don't want to be in the very thick of things, then this hotel would not be best). We loved everything about Hotel Roble. The staff was awesome, the restaurant was good, the room was quiet and clean. And it was close to everything we wanted to do or to a subway station that would get us to where we wanted to go. the hotel roble is A very nicely equipped hotel in A great location with stores and restaurants nearby. it is close to several metro stations and I found it very easy to use the metro to and from the hotel, even at night. This hotel is fantastic. I've stayed here 4 times now. It's great value for money, great location and really friendly, helpful staff. It's always easy, comfortable and very clean. Wifi was intermittent in corner room. It was great in hallway. Ask for a non corner room. Room, while small, was very clean. Staff allowed us to check in early. Thank you. I suspect he did not speak english, or maybe he just doesn'T like gringos. the taxi was unmarked and expensive. This time I was in a room on the back side of the hotel (#108) and there was train noise and not much air circulating through the windows. Also the internet didn't reach my room well enough. I had to use internet in the lobby or restaurant. Despite this I'm still very happy with this hotel, only next time I will ask for my room to be closer to the front of the hotel. The place was nice - nothing negative to say. I was the only black in the hotel and in the area of Uruguay I was lil bit afraid. The fact that, for general people, there is one rate for the dolar (1 american dolar = 12 mx) while for letsbookhotel.com clients the rate is another (1 american dolar = 13,40mx). Is this possible? Do letsbookhotel.com knows about this practice?. When I was there, one of the computers was not working and I couldn't get the printer to work either. I am sure probably could have fixed it but I was in too much of a hurry at that time. Hotel has no particular disadvantage besides those any other hotel for such price can have. Internet was not always dependable. Some folks might find rooms lacking frills, but it was perfect for us for the price. Wireless connection but no internet in room - only lobby and restaurant area. Small room. small room. Very noicy in the room, all the night. Reception don't speak english, on Sunday restaurant didn't working. That's all. Nothing more. Front desk peolple don't care and not helpful. there was trash from the last ocupants in the drawers... blanquets with cigarrete burns ( and hotel is smoke free).. no english channels in cable... but can survive without it.. restaurant was closed on sundays. Unfortunately, there were also bad things: A huge cockroach greeted us from the floor by the front desk. The room was really small and toilet not quite clean.
