I expected the room a bit below the standards, considering it was a budget hotel. The room did not dissapoint, with room amenities and cleanliness of a 4 star hotel. This budget hotel is a value for your money plus great location for the KL night life. Location is nice and peaceful, Near to shopping mall and easy to get foods. People are polite.Budget hotel, very nice room. Easy to get taxi. Cleanliness and can smell that the cleaners used antiseptic to clean the bathroom and toilet.
kaikki arvostelut » I booked Superior room and suddenly they told me my room is upgraded to Grand Deluxe.Without any inquiries,I say thank you to the front desk staff. They rely solved the problem without guest concern. Breakfast are excellent. The hotel is new & modern, ideal place to stay for shopping as the hotel is attached to a big shopping mall so my family & I could find anything we needed.. We like our deluxe room as it is facing the pool.. Great location. Easy for kids by Miri's standards. Very good value for money; nice fixtures and fittings and bathrooms. Four bars and restaurants, something for everyone. Great for young and trendies too!. I feel so calm and very comfort room and place which suitable for me and my family to have vacation thanks very much to all kindness meritz staff and very friendly. See below my comments: 1. Strategic location for shopping and eating. 2. Very Nice and Comfortable for staying. 3. Most important CLEAN, TIDY and PEACEFUL. New hotel with excellent internal design. Large rooms well decorated and with spacious bathroom. Everything very clean and in perfect conditions. Location is perfect with free parking for guests (although the car park is pretty gross and unsafe-looking). Very spacious room. 1st time staying here, the hotel design is very modern and interior design are nice. Wifi connection makes it more convenient. Value for money, great location, modern atmosphere, lots of varieties on breakfast buffet, fast chek in & check out. The environment is very excellent. It is the best choice to stay with family and do shopping at the same time. Cleanliness Food & Service in Grand Old Lady Shopping Proximity to my place of work & other eateries. The carpet on the floor lead to hotel room.Clean n colorful with sitting area in every floors. the rooms and the hotel itself were marvelous...the food were delicious especially breakfast. Hotel location is just above the Bintang plaza, Miri biggest shopping mall. I love its breakfast buffet. Hotel is built on top of a mega-mall. Good if you like that sort of thing. The room and the bathroom were big & tidy. Good location. Enviroment. I like it since its close to the shopping mall. 1) Pillows are too soft, not comfortable.. 2) No toothbrush provided. Parking are very hard to find because not allocated for hotel guest. None. Good and kind staff (to Malaysian standards, of course). Elevators are small and pretty much slow. More elevators will be better. Air-conditioner was a bit noisy but didn't bother that much. Slow elevator, sign to enter hotel is not clear from the mall. The staff should be more friendly to the customer especially the staffs at the counter. front-desk staff are forgetfull -possibly a lack of systematic handing and taking over of duties between shifts.ie. there was a information gap on certain request that I had made, such as 'wake-up calls' & request for taxi. - the gym does not play real work-out music which can easily be attained from youtube.> gym staff lacks knowledge on how to work the audio system.. - guests are allowed to jump into the pool fully clothed.> not hygenic at all. Sitting chair cover base detached from chair. Toilet standing shower area got gaps n wet the floor. Toilet flush tubing leaking .Towels no enough for family of three.The worst one is the selection of breakfast meals..limited n charged for extra child when checked in as family of three members. Good to stay but will not include the breakfast when book next time round !!! Worst breakfast menu I ever encountered... the parking space for hotel was not enough to accommodate the guest hotel.... basement parking space always full and have to park far from the hotel entrance. Only three elevators for so many floors and occupants. Lack of proper parking. No backup powersupply when blackout, hotel managment should give incentive or discount to all guest when stay in without aircon, light, wifi, nothing to do yet night still young. Still under construction some part of the building, bathroom finishing particularly wash-basin is not hygenic. A guard that no dicipline when we park our car at the basement car park. He shout at us and said didnt we understand that our car park is full. He also said that didnt you know what is jam.....Actually we ask where we should parks the car but he didnt tell us and said we didnt know what the meaning of jam. Gosh.... One thing I really dislike is where guests have to pay for the parking available in front to the hotel. It should be open to all guests who arrives first..(on a first come first serve basis) and the charge is way unreasonable. Nothing yet. i prefer if we can pay the hotel via cash when we arrived there rather than via master card. the carpet was not vacuumed well. The waitress during breakfast not friendly, even not smile to guest & very rough. Please asked the hotel to provide training to be more quality service oriented. Parking. lif always full. awaiting for long times to go up and down. swiminng pool close so early. Aircond not good condition. parking. 1. Parking space should be nominated just for guest, (especially basement parking area near elevator) 2. Even though basement parking still in used for renovation purpose, much better safety aspect make priority and also cleanest of the area. 3. Lift (elevator) so slow and unstable 4. Toilet bowl not comfortable. Washroom was not clean upon checked in, and no tv networks the following day. The hotel is undergoing some very noisy renovations. Although it is not the hotel's fault, Miri is probably the least pedestrian city I have ever visited in Asia. Poor service at the counter and parking problem during the stayed. Chk in was slow. Toilet was not as clean as i expected. The receptionist counter-especially the fat lady, very rude. All the man are very friendly. 1) The fridge wasn't cleared off 2) Toilet was not clean. Patches were seen on the tub.
