Everything was just perfect. We didn't expect such high standards considering the very reasonnable rates. Even internet is included and it is the higher you can get in Beirut, so for someone travelling for business like I do it is highly appreciable. While I was waking up early, my wife would spend the whole morning hanging out in the beautiful villa surrounded by trees and gardens. She enjoyed the fact that breakfast is served until very late (she had it once at 3pm...)and really customised to.

We loved the design of the hotel and the attention to detail- from the tiles, wall paper, lamps, art and even the marble floor in the bathrooms. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and Olivier and Marie-Hélène really make you feel you are at home. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy a great neighborhood in Beirut. The food is also excellent- lots of things home grown and organic. - They arrange a taxi for you from the airport so no taxi hassles (for a reasonable price) - we were allowed to check out when we wanted to - the restaurant is open all day so you can have your breakfast whenever you want! - good wifi - within easy walking distance of mar mikael bars & restaurants - VERY QUIET !!! - we didn't have a balcony but there is one everyone can use which was right across from our room. Warm, friendly welcome a real home from home. Old world charm but all the modern benefits such as free wi-fi, water and toiletries in the spotless rooms. Breakfast tailored to your personal taste and cooked beautifully. Resturant serves fantastic food. Nothing too much trouble for the great hosts, their flexibility reflects the friendly relaxed nature of the establishment they run. Villa Clara Boutique hotel welcomes the guest as if it was their home. The level of comfort, unobtrusive staff, friendly and attentive management, and exceptional dining makes this Hotel a home away from home. Congratulations to the owners for creating this special atmosphere. The location of this boutique hotel is great because you are in walking distance of Beirut's nightlife, art galleries, restaurants and more. The Chef prepared an amazing dinner, deliciously tasty. Highly recommended to try the food even if you are not staying here. Staff was wonderful. Located in a small, quiet neighborhood, that is walking distance to night life of all types. Centrally located within Beirut and only 20 minutes from the airport. This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel this year. The chef and his wife are able to maintain high standards with regards to the cuisine and the villa itself. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the food excellent in an enchanting restaurant and the hosts were fabulous! I would go back! Gay-friendly!. This boutique hotel met all my expectations and more. Loved it all. -Maid left windows open when she cleaned the room, ended up with a few mosquitos and lots of bites! The room needs a mosquito net for sleeping!!! -No 'do not disturb sign' (we were not disturbed, but just for our peace of mind) -letsbookhotel.com said the room had a safe and a mini bar, it did not (the hotel said they had requested this corrected on letsbookhotel.com a month ago). The fact I cannot fault it !!. I would like to get more options for breakfast ;). We liked it- all of it!. Expensive for what it is. Having a glass door to the toilet right next to the bed is odd!. Bathrooms could be improved in rooms. The room did not have all needed amenities.
