The owners, Jeffrey and Jessica, were so friendly and helpful. They made my stay happy and great. Also, the bed was the most comfortable one I've slept in in all of Korea in my near 2 years there. The room was clean, quiet, and just perfect. The rooms are cleaned every day and anything you need you only have to ask. It had an ensuite bathroom and was exactly what I wanted for my stay in Seoul. The location is in between lines 1 and ?3? So it was great to travel around. I'm experienced with Kore.
kaikki arvostelut » The shop owners is a pair of couple. They are nice and friendly. It is good that we can communicate with them in Mandarin. Because we don't know how to speak Korean. It is comfortable, though it is small space. But it is convenient to go to Metro station. The staff ( a couple ) is extremely friendly. I didn't had to pay immediately because i arrived late. A lot of tv-channels, mostly asian, but also english like espn-sport channels and movie-channels. Very good stay. I loved my stay there. The place is very close to the temples and the palaces. The best part was the staff. They are very friendly and helpfull. I am going to stay there again on my way back!. - nice, helpful and friendly staff (owners itselves) - close to metro line 1 and 2 - equipment very good - price - loose atmosphere - all in all very good for this price and category. This place is run by a family and they are all very friendly and helpful. I liked that we had a curtain to protect toilet from being drowned during the shower. When i first arrived i cant hide my dissapoinment as the house condition is just so-so and didnt meet my expectation. But i wouldnt complain much as i pay very little money for this accomodation. However, things change really quick and i really enjoy my stay here.The house owner, jefferey and his wife was awesome. They cater to every request we made and we were allowed to cook our own dishes in their open kitchen. Open kitchen has 24 hours access with hot/cold water, coffee stick, bread and jam. Good location,within 5 mins walking to subway station of line 1,2 and airport bus. The owner and his wife are friendly and nice. Room is clean,heater is well. WiFi signal is good. Staff is friendly and location is very good. The building is quite old, and quite hard to find ( easy when you know how) but not a fun walk with heavy bags. The neighbourhood is a little dingy and not very glamorous, but close to everything you might need. You can't turn the fridge off, otherwise the floor is wet, but not so bad, because after 1 day city tired. Little flies in the bathroom, but no harm, had no trouble with. - towels very small and thin - room very small (but ok, the price justifies the room size) - no daylight in the room, window so small and close to the other building that it is not a real window. It was a little bit hard to find, so pay attention to the map - it is marked correctly there (the address is not really helpful for humans). House was a little bit tricky to find when we 1st arrived. Lucky we made it by a very helpful korean ahjussi whom willingly to send us right to dongdaemun house front door. Room is very small.Hostel is a bit smelly. It seems the 2-people staff do everything around here, and they aren't too concerned with cleanliness, which is quite visible. The space provided for "breakfast" (if we can call it that) is a 3m by 3m room. Claustrophobic even if you're on your own. Disastrous if just two more people happen to be there at the same time. There's a horrible smell that comes out of the toilet (at least in my room) so I had to close the WC door and not use it at all. Plumbing issue, I think.
