  We walked to the hotel (no car) and when the lady heard that we would walk down to Kawayu-onsen village in the evening (40minute walk on dark/unlit roadside path) she sent someone after us to give us a ride! And gave us a taxi number for our return. Really nice of her! The small onsen was quiet at 7am (maybe others had already left) and I had the ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » simple outdoor bath to myself and watched the sun on the lake.
