  We arrived 2 hours early before check-in time on a rainy day and were immediately checked into one of the larger room. The room is nicely deco and very clean.The windows are facing the lake and you can even get a view of the Yutei mountain on a clear day. The Pension is run by a friendly couple with a helper who can speak Mandarin and English thus... mitä ihmiset sanovat » was able to be our translator. We stayed for 2 nights so were able to sample both western and japanese style cooking for dinner and breakfast. The - The pension is clean and comfortable, with the summer fireworks show visible from the lake view room windows. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and a great value for the money. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, even with limited English ability. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

  Amazing place! Excellent closeup view of the lake at an affordable price with reasonablr comfort. Rooms spacious and extremely clean. Excellent staff (i think its family owned and we had asked about good hiking routes. the lady owner speaks excellent english and offered to show us the way by car to our endpoint gor us to park our car, and then dro... mitä ihmiset sanovat » pped us off at the starting point! Excellent onsen! With both open air and indoors. Free parking. Free and strong wifi - It is a japanese ryokan, guest were mostly japanese. The facilty is a bit old but they have free onsen pools indoor and out door 24 hours! It was very near to attractions and they have a well stock pub with sake and whiskies...friendly staff but few spoke english...but it was not a problem as they were so friendly and helpful.

  The kids loved the large water park with the huge water slides and big wave pools. The onsens were also big with many pools and bath areas. The lake view from the room was fantastic. The buffet dinner and breakfast were also good with wide selections. The grilled scallops were huge!
