When you want to take a break from the hot water you can sit on the bordering rocks - The staff were excellent! I didn't speak much Japanese and they were really helpful. They even helped me both at planning my onward journey, saving me an hour, and helped me make reservations at japanese reataurants further on my journey, since I could not make a reservation in Japanese. The onsen was open 24/7. I had a late night and early morning soak. Definitely will come here again.
