  We were offered free upgrade to a villa when they do not have any non-smoking room available. The place is extremely comfortable and cosy. The staff was so helpful when my friend did not feel well around the time of the checkout and mentioned we could stay till she was feelling ok and the personal touch on offering assistance just could not be fo... mitä ihmiset sanovat » und in the 5 star hotel chains. - Our 2 nights-stay in the hotel was amazing. Our room was upgraded to a suite close to Gion Hatanaka. The suite was large, quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed the kaiseki dinner as well as Geisha show. It was marvellous. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. They could communicate in English. I wish I could stay longer.

  My stay of 5 nights was a truly lovely experience from arrival to departure, wonderful room design (King, level 2), everything thoughtfully arranged, lots of space to hang and put away clothes and other items, scrupulously clean, spacious shower, a calming room which was a delightful refuge after busy days out. I've lodged at many fine hotels across the glob - 1) Breakfast - European buffet was to die for!! they cook ham in front of your eyes, excellent choice of fruit, muesli, sausages, fish. 2) Spacious room. 3) Staff speaks good English and very helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage for free for 3 days even when we left for Tokyo and then didn't come back to Hyatt again. 4) Locality is really convenient for both sightseeing (next to Kyoto Museum and various temples) and logistics point (5 min from train/shinkansen station)
