On arrival, we were taken through the various facilities including a hot tub and a self drying dish rack. There was a tea service provided as well as drinks, and every facility for cooking including a variety of seasonings. Shops were nearby. It was a pleasant location. There are lots of shrines nearby and the staff there even provided us with an all day bus ticket each at no extra cost. 1. staying in a traditional house in Kyoto. what an experience. 2. the house is fully equipped and clean. we enjoyed buying food in the market and eat at the house relaxingly. 3. there is a very long history public bathhouse (only 3 remaining in Japan) steps away. unfortuantely it will be close down on 31 Dec this year.
