  The service was very good, we were picked up from the nearby train station in a luxurious car. The hot spring bath within the room was excellent, with a forest view, television, and direct access to the bathroom and room. There was even a hammock at the back patio that has the forest view. The dinner included was exquisite. T - The treatment was excellent. We felt like royals there. The room was big, well decorated and we enjoyed dressing up with the traditional Japanese clothes they've provided. The food was delicious. The hot spring was relaxing and enjoyable (private and public).

  Yumoto Fujiya Hotel wasn't super cheap, but very conveniently located, minutes from Hakone-Yumoto where you will have to change trains no matter what. It's a good place to arrive the previous night to have an easier start the next morning. The room, although not very cheap, was super spacious and comfortable. AC: worked great - Excellent location very close to the train station but very quite and relaxing. We were traveling around east Japan and this was the most expensive and poshest place we stayed but it was well worth it. Staff were great. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. According to my companion the Onsen was perfect. I chose to get a shower with the dazzling array of toiletries provided. As well as an excellent base for exploring Hakone we took a day trip to Tokyo which took under 2 hours by train.
