  Very centrally located. So close to a lot of Tojukuji Station and Kyoto Station - means you have easy access to so many temples, shrines and other tourist attractions! Also because it is so well located, a taxi ride to Kyomizu-dera only costs around 1,000jpy if you are in a hurry or have young children. Close to a supermarket and convenience s - we arrived very late at kansai airport so my daughter who is in Japan helped to check in and told the landlady about our late arrival. We were lucky to check out quickly and took a train to the Mimatsuso. By the time we reached there, it was almost midnight but on hearing our arrival, she served us each a cup of hot tea.I booked a room for 4 and we had a good experience sleeping on the tatami .
