With its cliff-top location in central Zoagli, Castello Canevaro is a restored 18th-century villa overlooking the Ligurian Sea. It offers a terrace as well as en suite rooms, suites and apartments. All accommodation faces the garden or the sea, and comes with classic décor and chequered tiles, and a private bathroom fitted with bathtub or shower. Apartments feature a dining area with fully equipped kitchenette and dishwasher. A continental buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast hall or, weather permitting, on the terrace overlooking the Portofino Bay. Guests staying in rooms and suites have free use of a kitchen and sea-view lounge with fireplace. You can unwind in the furnished garden or enjoy the beautiful views on the terrace. We arrived at Castello Canevaro at 9 p.m. in the right day ... but just one year before! We made a mistake in the booking process and we were not expected! There was a weeding in the Castle. Despite the situation, we were received by a incredible diplomat and polite gentleman who solved the problem and found us a very nice room in the castle. He and his very nice family walked us around and suggested several restaurants. Breakfast was excellent in a room with an unbelievable view and well prese.
