  We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel really stood out in terms of quality (from what we saw of other hotels in venice). The staff (who all spoke at least some English) were friendly and helpful. The room was impressive and ours was bigger than I thought it would be after I read that some people thought the rooms were small. It is also a very short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all week and lots of water pressure.   The room (room 106 on first floor), was big and light with two big windows overlooking the canal, one of which opened out onto a small balcony.The bed was two beds pushed together and may be a bit firm for some people. The en-suite bathroom was a good size and had WC, bidet, large sink, jacuzzi bath (normal size) plus tiled - This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the junior suite with a canal view and it was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated! This hotel room, experience and location was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend it! Even though the junior suite is a bit more money than the regular rooms, if you are wanting to treat yourself while in Italy for a couple days, I would definitely spend the extra money on this room!!   We loved staying in this gracious palazzo. Very friendly staff who treated us like family. nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the location, away from the main tourist area but only 5 minutes walk away. The garden is also wonderful and we eat breakfast out in the sunshine each day. The staff and management treated us like family friends rather than paying guests and it was one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed. Nothing was too much trouble and there were many little extras provided free of charge, which only added to the pleasure. The room was wonderful, full of atmosphere and beautifully appointed. I would recommend the hotel to any of my friends without hesitation.

  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... mitä ihmiset sanovat » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.
