  We chose the Al Caval for its location by the lake. Our room had a balcony with glimpses of the lake through the trees. Not a huge room but comfortable with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Easy to find and good car parking. A 10 minute walk to the centre, either by road or by the lake promenade where there are many restaurants, cafes,... mitä ihmiset sanovat » bars and shops. - Free deck chairs for the beach We got upgraded for free! Our room had a fridge and a large terrace. Breakfast was the best of the three hotels we stayed in at Lake Garda. Staff very friendly and eager to please. Good price.   Friendly staff (local couple), excellent personal service. The atmosphere is more like a BandB than a hotel. Breakfast was very good, and the entire hotel was clean and well cared for. - Very friendly, helpful owners who took pride in their hotel. Glass of prosecco on arrival - a nice touch.   Everything at this hotel was great! The young man at reception upon our arrival was exceptionally helpful. Our room was delightful, and had a balcony overlooking the lake, and the ferry departure point. Massismo was most helpful in replying to our e-mail prior to arriving, and his quick response to our request for an iron.
