The staff were excellent and the little chalets were a refreshing change from a multi storey hotel.
It's a ten minute walk to the main square but as a result it's a peaceful retreat. There's a great restaurant called Fillippo about a five minute walk away.

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. Great atmosphere throughout the hotel, its perfect!! - A beautiful hotel with the most welcoming and friendly staff. Hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable and roomy. The hotel has the most spectacular view of Sorrento and the coast. The hotel provides easy axcess into Sorrento via a shuttle. We would recommend finding out the shuttle or bus schedule prior to arrival in Sorrento since the taxis to the hotel are pricey (Euro 50).
