  The room was large, pleasant and tastefully decorated. Everything worked, the room was clean and airy. The bed was comfortable. Staff in reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty - lots of sweet stuff, but that's Sicily for you! The location is perfect...a short walk from everywhere you want to go, except the ancient Greek and Roman sites, but guess what...the charming young women at the hotel make that easy. AAA+++. - We loved the location in the old city, the breakfasts were fair,the woman serving the breakfasts was lovely. we never saw the reception staff after our arrival, which was a shame as our air conditioner was very noisy so we couldn't sleep with it on and it was very hot. Apart from that the room was great. we loved the terrace. The market was great as was the swimming in the local beach.
