  Be sure to ask for the room on the upper floors with a view. The view is spectacular from up there and the walk up (no elevator) is worth the hike. The breakfast is good and the people polite. You are right in the center of the old town and the evening bar next door is good for a nightcap or snack.   The hostess was great and the breakfast food and coffee were a greatstart to the day. The rooms were large and the views were great. The busstop is nearby, though we took our car into Sienna for more flexability.Would reccommend this to everyone, a great experience all around.   It's a brand new place furnished with exceptional taste. Charming old villa with a large beautiful garden at the guest's disposal. Superb breakfast, and great location. Rooms were spacious, and shared bathroom was large and modern. Only 3 rooms in the villa means not a lot of people going in and out.   The location of this B&B is fantastic, and so are the views from the balcony. The first thing that I noticed as soon as I entered the apartment was its atmosphere and cleanliness. The apartment has fully equipped kitchen, so you can make your meals there if you want. Although a little difficult to locate at first, Simonetta Gianni met us in the square and promptly took our luggage to the top floor of a B&B in the heart of Sienna with wonderful views of rooftops and the tower.   First, I need to explain that this is like a house or apartment with a small living room and kitchen area and then several floors of rooms with shared bathrooms inside of a larger building that houses other residences and some offices, as well. It is not a hotel, per se. One could use the kitchen (put items in the refrigerat - A bit of a find, this - right in the centre of Siena, the many stairs lead to a top floor maze of linked apartments managed from the floor below. Astonishing views from both communal areas and some rooms. Kitchen extremely well set up and spacious - could happily cook a family meal here if travelling on a budget. Theres even a freezer. Owners good-natured and helpful eg: allowed us to leave bags there on last day to pick up later.

  This is the second time I've stayed at Casa di Alfredo and I can never believe that this place is considered a hostel and not a hotel! It is impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished. It is situated in a historic building, with frescoed ceilings and big bright windows.
