Everything...simply a great place to stay! Centrally located to Barolo and Barbaresco. The restaurant is very good and serves simple, traditional Piedmontese fare. The personnel in the establishment are friendly, courteous and helpful. They enjoy what they do and it shows; simply outstanding. We will stay again and recommend Il Cappallotto highly

This is a beautiful, new property! I was traveling with my two older sons to do some beer tasting in the Piemonte region. It was like we had our very own small apartment. The breakfast was wonderful and featured delicious local food as well as the typical items. I highly recommend staying here. I am sorry my reservation was for one night only

This exquisitely renovated castle provides every luxury and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Barolo wine country. Nonetheless, the high point for us was the food. Chef (and owner) Denise Pardini, whose resume includes at stint at Chez Panisse, has figureed out how to brighten traditional Piedmontese cuisine for the modern palette. Everything was delicious. Even the breakfast was a knockout. My short vacation at Hotel Castello di Sinio inspired me to make my own house more castle-like

Very nice, small hotel situated on a hill with a very nice view over the Langhe region. Accomodation is good, rooms with central floor heating and also the food is delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was great. the owners recommend one of their apartments for our family which worked out great for us. The views are fantastic from the hotel. Best of all was the delicious, seven course meals served up each evening. The food and wine were excellent and an extremely good value. -
