  As we had a car, this was an ideal place for visiting Portovenere and Cinque Terre. All of the hotels located in La Spezia, Portovenere, Cinque Terre were either expensive or had low ratings and reported parking problems, so we chose Casali Romei in Sarzana as our base. The hotel is far from central roads, so it was really quiet. It is really easy - Stylish and romantic, cozy swimming pool, suitable for small children, good place for your base for exploring Liguria, friendly and helpful staff

  Location not to far from local town - I loved the house, really beautiful. Located a 10 minute drive from sarzana town, would have been better if could walk but no footpath and bit dicey as along main road. In saying this there was nothing really bad about it, the owners are really nice, friendly and helpful but I wouldn't stay there again.
