Lucia was very welcoming. A real professional with a great personality. Met us and guided us to the B&B. Recommended one of the best restaurants for an excellent dinner. Provided us with info on the area. The B&B was very charming , very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean and up to date.Enjoyed watching the local daily life, laundry flapping in the breeze, renovations being done across the street, from balcony window. The narrow old streets were charming.

The location in Salerno was just perfect- in the heart of the historic district and right across the street from a fantastic restaurant serving traditional southern Italian cuisine. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the neighborhood, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which was brought straight up to our room. The room was really lovely- modern, chic and comfortable. Nonni and Lucia we. We stayed in the split-level studio apartment of this B&B, which is located 100 meters from the actual B&B. The apartment is spacious and modern, has a separate bathroom, fridge, wardrobe, tv and airco. Its location is perfect; in the middle of the centre of Salerno, close to shops, restaurants and the sea. It's a 15 minute walk from the train- station. The apartment is in a private courtyard which makes it, despite being in the centre, a very quiet and safe location. Staff at the recep. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was brought to the room each morning. This is one of those places with a little first-floor balcony that you that you see in the movies and say, "We've got to go there!" Its in the heart of the old town, at the intersection of two narrow streets teeming with Italian life, surrounded by quaint restaurants and gelato shops. Two blocks from the bay; three from the Duomo. This place is Italy!!! Fortunately we were able to extend for one extra night. On our nex. Fabulous staff! Lucia was so helpful with planning my day trips and always greeted me with a smile. Rosario, the owner, was very kind as well. The other staff were willing to help me out when needed, from walking me out to the street to show me where bus stops were to helping me carry my luggage up the very steep steps. Breakfast was served in the room at the time of your choice and was very good. The room was very clean and spacious. Water, coffee and tea available at any time. We travelled in Italy for 2 weeks and this B&B was by far the best we stayed at during our trip! The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely and very helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was very luxury (the only one during the whole trip that had an actual double bed and not two twin beds put together), had a lovely new bathroom and the breakfast was brought to the room in the morning. We enjoy our stay and will come back next year! Definitely recommended!. Nice Hotel, very clean bright rooms, located in historical centre of Salerno, close to Porto Manfredi 5 minutes on foot to Porto Concordia 20 min on foot. Train station in 15 min. on foot. Good located to all restaurants and caffe, shops. We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel. Breakfast was served at room on appropriate time. Free wifi, free coffee, water. You can fill like at home. Staff very helpful and friendly you can get all needed information there. The staff were very helpful and polite. There is no dining room so breakfast (which you have chosen the night before) is brought to your room, very relaxing. I arrived at 2.30 a.m. after an 8-hr train delay from Roma; staff kept in touch w/ my progress by ph, greeted me in street as I arrived, hauled my suitcase up steep flts of stairs. "Cute, clean, and a sweet mattress," are my priorities and all three were satisfied. My tiny dog (2.5 kgs) was welcome w/out extra charge. Salerno is a city of neighborhoods, and local restaurants/bars were good references. Great atmosphere with incredibly helpful staff. It's a small B&B, 5 rooms plus a suite. The rooms are spacious and everything is in very good condition. Breakfast is served in the room each morning, and you can choose yourself what you want from the menu. The streets are for locals only. The wifi didn't reach our room, which was on the top floor, so we had to come down to the lobby area to use it. But given the view that we had from our room, we didn't mind too much. No WiFi in the apartment, only outside in the courtyard. The bathroom was ok, but small and could have been a little bit cleaner. We liked everything. We loved the noises from the street below and the lady across the street hanging out her laundry. (If you're a light sleeper, you might bring ear plugs.). As I stayed on a Friday an Saturday night, it got quite loud outside. Other than that no complaints. a bit noisy with opened window at night. The location will sometimes be noisy in the evenings (not traffic, just people passing by) as the hotel is in the pedestrianised area, so very central, but this is also part of the charm and definitely to be experienced. ATTention art history/ archaeology visitors: my sole purpose in traveling south was to visit the temples at Paestum. I stayed in Salerno on the advice of a popular travel guide, but will opt for a location closer to the site next trip. Brkfst: coffee is from a machine, pastry maybe from a bag, juice a processed sugary bev. Healthy-types better off foraging for self!. It is a small place and we lived on the top, 3rd, floor. The stairs up to the room were very steep and narrow. For us, a young couple, it was no problem. I would not recommend this hotel to an elderly couple however. Other than that, all was great. Is a bit farther from the station than we expected but it is located in the historical center so very comfortable for visiting the city. Just if you wanna take the boat to amalfi coast you should consider the time for walking to the harbor. The steps are very steep and Wi-Fi did not work well in our third floor room. Might be a bit noisy if you get the room next to reception (but reception closes at 8 pm). We came with a car, and it is really not possible to park on the street near by. We ended up using the private garage recomended by the B&B which was fine, but cost 25 euro per 24 hours, so an extra cost to be aware of if coming with a car. Wifi didn't work at all in the rooms but it was kinda nice to get out and socialize. Just might be a good idea to specify for some guests. Note that the location is slightly further from the train station, 15 minutes leisurely walk. noisy neighbours in this central B&B square of about 6 units. kept partying until 3.30am so not much sleep. very noisy and people tended to slam the gate into the square at all hours on their return. security lights on until 6am. The noise, dirt, and bad air of Salerno. The Amalfi coast is nothing but a big Tourist trap as compared to other charming coastal towns of Italy and we were terribly disappointed. We had expectations of the Amalfitano from the old films and were saddened by the negative impact that mass tourism has had on this part of Italy. A little noisy at night from the street but not complaining as that's to be expected with the location. Our room #1 is immediately adjacent to the front desk and located on the small street behind, thus is very noisy. low internet wi-fi in the room .... Fairly narrow stairs up 3 flights could be a problem with some people, although they will help with luggage. The steps up! As a couple with a young child, the steps were quite laborious. Long stairs. Hard to find, GPS didnt recognise the street name. Coordinates provided are for the main street. Everything was ok. There is no on-site parking. Very flaky wifi that should not be advertised.
