Colle San Giorgio was probably the best place we have ever stayed in. The room, surroundings and people who run it are beyond compare. Breakfasts are wonderful by the pool and the whole place is spotless, beautifully run and offers a very friendly welcome. San Giorgio is a quiet place but not cut off with Garda and Bardolino a short drive away. A really special place.

Wonderful staff that take the time to explain getting to and from Venice in great detail. Received a bottle of water on arrival. Transportation in and out of Venice very convenient with bus stop right across the street from the hotel. Gated parking at hotel although not necessary in this nice neighborhood. The hotel is in the heart of a very charming little seaside resort town. The room was nice, had a great bathroom, was very close to the water taxi direct to St. Mark's in Venezia. Staff was very positive and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet.

The staff at Hotel Gardenia were excellent. They made us feel very welcome, their local knowledge of the area was invaluable and hiring bikes to visit Garda and Lazise was brilliant especially with a 7 year old and 11 year old. -
